Is your move long-distance?

Start Here

Moves over 50 miles or across a state line are long-distance moves. Instead of an hourly rate, they are quoted as a binding price based on distance, your inventory and services, and they are planned around pickup and delivery dates.

What comes with every long distance move

WHAT'S INCLUDED

1. A personal move coordinator: One contact from quote to delivery who confirms your inventory, crew size, and arrival window.

2. An estimate before the price: Inventory reviewed on-site, by video, or by phone so the binding price reflects what is actually moving.

3. Protection and wrap for the long haul: Furniture blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped, floors and doorways protected at both homes.

4. Loading, transport and delivery: Loaded and strapped for highway miles, then delivered to your new home.

5. Unloading, reassembly and placement: Beds and tables put back together, furniture set in the rooms you choose.

6. Storage if you need it: Short- or long-term storage when closing dates do not line up.

How are long-distance moves priced

PRICING

Long-distance moves (anything over 50 miles) are priced differently from local hourly moves and are usually quoted as a binding price, unless you prefer otherwise. Four factors shape that number.

Distance

Miles between homes set fuel, drive time and how many days the crew and truck are out.

Weight and inventory

The more you move, the more truck space and labor the job takes.
